However, copy and pasting systems from other countries, especially all in one go, would be very destabilizing and chaotic for our country. Things need to be done in small, bite-sized steps, while addressing the weaknesses other universal healthcare systems have in other places.

• Private Insurance as Optional Add-Ons
  Allow private insurance to exist for supplemental coverage and elective services. without letting it undermine or replace universal care.

• Lower Costs, Better Access
  End medical debt, cap prescription drug prices, and negotiate drug costs at the federal level.
